My Date With Drew

I went to Roppongi for watching the movie "My Date with Drew" with my husband today.

Enakku romba romba pudichiruku.
It was very funny, but lovely American movie.

The movie is about Brian, who is a die hard fan of Drew Barrimore, trying to contact to her for one day date!

I highly recommend to see it!

After the movie, we moved to Ginza, Nair Reataurant.
We had a dinner with our friend.
That restaurant is one of the oldest Indian Restaurant in Japan,
where was visited such as MGR, Mohanlal.
We enjoyed!

Indian Movie Dance

I like Indian films since 1998 when [Muthu] was released in Japan.

The movie brought about boom of Indian films in Japan.
But unfortunately that was just another fad.

Indian films has not alomost been released in Japan for long time.
Rajnikanth in [Chandramukhi] is the first Indian Masala Movie run in Japan in 5 years!

But I have been a great fan of Indian films.

There are several dancing class for Indian movie dance in Japan.

I'm taking the lessons by Balamurugan who came from Chennai, dance master.
We dance in the songs like Vijay, Vikram, Rajnikanth, Silambarasan...

In this year, we danced the songs from Sivakasi, Anniyan, Chandramukhi, Sachin, etc.

Someday if any Indian film will be shooted in Japan,
I would like to dancing in the film!
This is one of my dreams...

Travel to India

I am planning to visit India with my husband in the end of this year.
It is the first time in two years for tripping India.

I'd like to watching Thamizh films in Chennai,
especially [Sivappadhigaram], in which my favorite actor Raghuvaran acted.

He has not appeared screens so much in these years.
How did he spend his days when he didn't act?

My first post

Hello, I'm Noriko, Japanese living in Tokyo.

I am a great fan of Paul McCartney, South Indian Films.
I want to improve English and Thamizh language,
So I will try to write this diary in English (,and sometime in Thamizh).

If you can understand Japanese,
you can go to my diary in Japanese.

Thank you!

Anbudan,
Noriko
